In case you haven't seen the Princess Bride and don't know what that title means, today is the big day! Yes folks, this morning at Westminster Abbey Kate Middleton married Prince William. I doubt that everyone watched, but I you definitely should if you haven't already.
We watched on youtube (we decided our couch was a better spot than a crowded sidewalk) and saw as some important people (Posh and Becks, Elton John, David and Mrs. Cameron, Ed Milliband, and Nick Clegg) as well as royals and Middletons of every sort arrived at the abbey.
When William arrived with best man and little bro Harry he was visibly nervous and fidgety. He kept smoothing his hair and jacket, and fiddling his hands. A couple of times he took a deep breath to calm himself.
And then, Kate stepped out of the car in front of the abbey my jaw (and I'm sure about those of 1.9999999 billion other people) dropped. Her dress was amazing, and I think the designer did a perfect job of capturing Kate's personality in it. Not only was is gorgeous, but it looked right for her. As she was walking down the aisle, Harry turned to look then told Will something, probably that she looked amazing or that she was coming or something.
And when she got to the altar, Will turned to look at her and mouthed "You look beautiful" with the biggest smile on his face. SO ADORABLE. My heart seriously skipped a beat. These guys are the cutest couple ever. Both were so nervous and excited as they said their vows, and were so adorable all the time.
When they came out onto the balcony to wave at the crowd and kiss, people were chanting 'kiss, kiss' and they did. about 5 minutes later, another chant started: 'kiss again, kiss again!' so they did. And it was so cute and they are so in love and my brain is going to explode.
But it'll have to wait till next week to do so, because I have finals!
